Oktober 2026 zeigt die Kunsthalle Messmer in Riegel die Ausstellung &#8222;Hermann Hesse &#8211; Bereit zum Aufbruch &#8211; Dichter, Maler, Nobelpreistr\u00e4ger&#8220;. Die Ausstellung r\u00fcckt den vielschichtigen K\u00fcnstler und Literaturnobelpreistr\u00e4ger Hermann Hesse (1877 in Calw \u2013 1962 in Montagnola) als Maler in den Fokus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hesse ist der meistgelesene deutschsprachige Autor des 20. Jahrhunderts weltweit und erlangte mit seinen literarischen Werken wie Siddhartha (1922), dem Steppenwolf (1927), Narzi\u00df und Goldmund (1930) oder dem Glasperlenspiel (1943) Weltruhm. Doch Hesse war nicht nur Schriftsteller und Dichter, sondern\u00a0 auch Maler: \u201eAls Dichter w\u00e4re ich ohne das Malen nicht so weit gekommen\u201c, berichtete Hesse, dem das Malen u. a. half, Schreibkrisen zu \u00fcberwinden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Ausstellung \u201eHermann Hesse \u2013 Bereit zum Aufbruch&#8220; zeigt in einer umfassenden Werkschau rund 130 Aquarelle, Tusche- und Federzeichnungen, Typoskripte von Gedichten, illustrierte Briefe, Erstausgaben sowie Fotografien des genialen Grenzg\u00e4ngers und l\u00e4sst Hesses k\u00fcnstlerisches und literarisches Werk in einen Dialog treten. In Hesses leuchtenden, farbenfrohen Aquarellen kommen seine Liebe zur Natur und zu seiner Wahlheimat Tessin, seine Sehnsucht nach Harmonie und Vervollkommnung sowie die gro\u00dfen Themen Hesses \u2013 Aufbruch, Erneuerung, Suche nach der eigenen Identit\u00e4t, nach einem Leben im Einklang mit sich und der Umwelt \u2013 zum Ausdruck.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Schopf2Magazin-Reporter Sebastian Bargon hat sich mit Kunsthallenchef J\u00fcrgen A.
